Never threatened when backed into 7-2 on his stable debut at Newcastle (6f) in January but remains one who could click for this yard and it will be interesting to see whether there is money for him again now back on turf after 95 days off.
Made all in 7f handicap at Lingfield off 2lb higher in December; some fair efforts in defeat since, including fourth of 11 at Wolverhampton (7f) four weeks ago; this former C&D scorer is handily drawn for a prominent racer; reasons to be positive with Jack Nicholls taking 5lb off.
Sole win was at Ripon (1m, good) last April but he's run plenty of good races since; last week's fifth of 14 at Newcastle (7f) was another respectable effort but he remains 2lb above the mark he defied at Ripon.
Lightly raced 4yo who returned from an absence to finish runner-up off 2lb higher on his 1m Southwell handicap debut last October; too keen when failing to reproduce that form in two subsequent AW outings around the turn of the year but possible he could pack more punch at the finish if a first-time hood (combined with tongue-tie) helps him to settle better; runner-up on turf (good to firm) as a juvenile.
It's now 15 starts since his last success but he comes here in good nick, finishing third on turf at Pontefract (1m, good to soft) and Leicester (7f, good) in recent weeks.
7f maiden win at Dundalk when trained by Kevin Coleman; placed on three of four starts for Katie Scott last August/September, including over C&D (good to soft); has had wind surgery ahead of this first start for seven months.
Drawn a blank since winning first three starts for Roger Varian but surely would have put that right over C&D (good) last time with more luck in running, going down by only a head despite being repeatedly denied a run in the penultimate furlong; might need the breaks if he's dropped in from the outside stall but still has to be high on the list.
Still seeking a first handicap success but he went desperately close at Kempton (7f) last month; sound return to turf when third of nine at Catterick (7f, good) last Wednesday, leading for a long way; respected at a track which suits prominent racers.
C&D winner (good) last October; also runner-up off today's mark back here in November and could play a prominent role again if fully primed after 134 days off.
Just one win from her 17 starts but that came on New Year's Day at Newcastle (6f) and she's largely continued in form there since, placing over 7f on her last three visits; raced only on AW for this yard but her peak RPR was achieved on turf in Ireland.
