Well handicapped on last season's peak efforts and he took a step back in the right direction when fourth of 12 at Musselburgh (1m1f, good) recently; however, that track brings out the best in him, he needs to build on that latest run, and he's unproven at 1m2f.
0-10 last year but placed on final two runs of the season last autumn and he didn't run badly at Ripon a fortnight ago on his reappearance; his last win came off this mark and he could improve for that recent outing.
Runner-up in the Cambridgeshire (1m1f) in September 2024 and he's raced just four times since; denied clear run when keeping on for fifth of 12 at Musselburgh (1m1f, good) recently and the return to 1m2f is worth a go; could have a part to play in first-time cheekpieces.
Caught wide when down the field at Lingfield in February on last Flat start and when well beaten over hurdles on his last two runs he was contesting hot 4yo races; on a competitive mark on last summer's Flat form and he was a Listed hurdle runner-up in October; not ruled out back in this code.
Off the mark at the fourth attempt in a maiden at Brighton (7f, good to firm) last September and he reappeared with a close second on last month's handicap debut at Wolverhampton (9.4f, AW); that latest form reads well and this unexposed 4yo is a major player up 2lb.
Went up the weights having won three times last year, including C&D (good to firm) in May; unplaced on final start last term and same story on recent reappearance, but he may have needed that latest run and is not ruled out.
Not the force of old on AW and he refused to race at Lingfield in February; made it 0-7 on turf when 5l sixth of nine here (1m, good to firm) last Monday but that wasn't devoid of promise as he was denied a clear run and kept on pretty nicely; he's not ruled out each-way back up in trip.
Tailed off last November when last seen but enjoyed a good season in the main otherwise, winning two in a row in the summer and finishing second over C&D (good) on his penultimate start; his record when fresh in the spring is pretty decent and he's one to consider.
Beaten on his last 13 starts going back to last February and eight of his nine wins have come on AW; can be slowly away but that didn't stop him finishing second over C&D (good to firm) last Monday when back up in trip; has the same mark today and could well be in the mix once more.
