Made good start to hurdling career in the autumn, including when going close in a Cheltenham novice (2m4f, good to soft; has won on good ground); reappeared with a creditable third at Plumpton last month and he's feasibly treated on his best Flat form last year, including a sequence of runner-up efforts over staying trips; respected back in this sphere.
Acts on good and heavy ground; won off 2lb lower over C&D for Charlie Johnston last autumn and he ran well over hurdles last month, on his second run for current yard; seems tactically versatile and he's in the mix off a workable mark back on the Flat.
Well held over hurdles in last three runs but he's won plenty under both codes including three over C&D; still 3lb higher than for his win here last June but he needs watching in market back on the Flat; effective on good/good to firm but most of his wins have come on slow ground.
Improved form upped to 2m when winning at Kempton (AW) and Nottingham (good) in his final two runs last season; up another 5lb but he still looks feasibly treated and could continue on an upward curve as a 4yo; interesting contender on his return.
Recorded his tenth win when scoring at Wolverhampton (2m, Tapeta) in January; held his form with creditable efforts in next three starts but his good spell came to a halt at Lingfield last month; has bit to prove again after that heavy defeat and his last turf win was in 2022.
Both wins have been on AW and latest was on her Southwell reappearance (1m4f) in March; only 3lb higher than for that win but she faded at Wolverhampton (1m6f) last time and is untried at this trip; comes with risks attached and she's not been easy to predict in handicaps; first-time cheekpieces.
Four AW wins since December and she completed a double in good style at Lingfield (2m) last month; 7lb higher back on turf but that was a clear personal best last time and she's unexposed in this sphere; respected.
