Lightly raced 5yo; made all for narrow win at Newbury (7f, good) last June and shaped encouragingly upped to 1m2f on same course on reappearance, racing freely but keeping on into sixth; today's intermediate trip could be ideal and he may still have untapped potential.
Had his favoured soft ground when winning the Lincoln in 2024; below par since, last seen finishing in midfield at Newcastle last June; back below his last winning mark but may find conditions too quick.
Lightly raced 5yo, previously trained by the Gosdens (changed hands for 30,000gns in October); 0-4 but made the frame on each outing, second in 1m2f maiden at Windsor on final one last summer; has joined a useful stable and cannot be dismissed on handicap debut.
Campaigned in Qatar and France in 2025; went off joint-favourite on return to Britain and won nine-runner race at Redcar (1m, good to firm) 12 days ago, digging deep; only 2lb higher and should be in the thick of things again.
On a roll when last seen, winning at Sandown (1m, soft) and on this course (1m1f, good to firm) in second half of last season; that form looks solid and he's been nudged up only 3lb for the second success; leading claims if ready to roll after seven months off.
Mostly in good form on the AW during the winter, winning at Wolverhampton (8.6f) and Kempton (1m); however, he was below par back at Wolverhampton six weeks ago and has something to prove on a rare encounter with turf.
Won twice on the AW over the winter but he seems to have gone off the boil, well beaten at Newcastle on Good Friday; not so effective yet on turf; others make more appeal.
Consistent of late on the AW, runner-up at Kempton in October and March, but his turf efforts have been more up and down; never better than midfield in Spring Cup at Newbury two weeks ago and only 1lb lower today.
Fine stable servant with 11 wins to his name, although recent efforts have been underwhelming; only seventh of ten at the Craven meeting here and he needs to be revived by the presence of Ryan Moore in the saddle.
On a lengthy losing run but he's knocking firmly at the door, just edged out in a first-time tongue-strap at Lingfield (1m) four weeks ago; goes well at Newmarket and makes plenty of each-way appeal.
Seems more effective on AW (3-4) than turf (1-9) and finished down the field in the Spring Mile at Doncaster (14-1) five weeks ago; now has cheekpieces to accompany the usual tongue-strap.
Signed off 2025 with a low-key effort but he'd previously won convincingly at Haydock (good to firm) and run well when third at Kempton (AW), both over 1m; not ruled out if cherry ripe after 192 days off.
Ended last season with a good third to Man Of La Mancha over 1m1f on this course (good to firm); shaped as if retaining all his ability when seventh of 22 in the Spring Mile at Doncaster, short of room closing stages; should be spot-on with that run behind him and looks ready to strike.
Sole turf run resulted in a win here (1m2f, good) last spring; has flattered to deceive on his last two AW runs (1m4f/9.4f), fading after racing freely; today's drop back to 1m looks well worth a try and he may still be unexposed.
Four wins at Kempton between October and March but he could finish only sixth of nine there when a warm favourite four weeks ago; will need a personal best to regain the winning thread and his mark has risen steeply since his last go on turf.
Off the mark at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) last summer and ran well on handicap debut at Newbury (7f, good) next time; disappointing when upped to 1m at Kempton but he's certainly bred to stay; still lightly raced.
