Why The Favourite Can Be Opposed
The market still matters, but the aim is to find where price and reality have drifted apart.

Respectable effort from out of the weights in a higher grade over C&D (good to soft) last month; overall record is now 0-13 and he's 2lb lower than last time and is not ruled out back in calmer waters.
His form took off with three wins over fences last winter; however, his good run came to a halt at Stratford last March and he was tailed off again on his comeback at Haydock (2m45f, good) last month; has some questions to answer and he needs to get back on track.
Veteran who has won three times over fences since December including at Plumpton (2m4f, good) 17 days ago; that was in a small field and his main rival made a bad mistake at the last but he still looks feasibly treated and is versatile ground-wise; respected.
All of his five wins have been gained at Plumpton but he's been well held at that track (2m1f/2m4f) in last three runs; now 9lb lower than for his last success but that that was 14 months ago and others are preferred.
Acts on good and soft ground; eight-race maiden but he's finished runner-up in chase handicaps in last two starts including a close call at Southwell in March; only 1lb higher here and he's a player if he copes with this step back up in trip.
7yo who made it 3-5 over fences when beating 11 rivals in a C&D handicap (good) 12 days ago; up another 7lb but that was a comfortable success and he's open to more progress in this sphere; key player.
Won at Sedgefield (2m3f, good to soft) in February and was runner-up on his return visit over 2m5f two weeks later; looks interesting on that form but he needs to bounce back from a heavy defeat at Carlisle in March.
All of his three victories have been at Fontwell including two chase wins over an extended 2m5f (good to soft); beaten 9l when runner-up here in December but that was behind an improver and he's still lightly raced in this sphere; respected back in trip on his return.
Record of 2-7 over fences and he ran a big race in defeat at Exeter (2m3f, good to soft) last month; is also well suited by this track and he should be in the mix again after a short break.
